Cancellation Policy
Shai City Lofts – Booking & Social Event Policy At Shai City Lofts, we welcome social gatherings, creative activations, and intentional events. Our goal is to provide a beautiful and safe environment while protecting the integrity of our space. By booking, you agree to follow the policy below. All event details must be shared accurately at the time of booking, including guest count, nature of the event, setup needs, and whether alcohol will be served. Misrepresentation of any kind will result in immediate cancellation without refund and possible restriction from future bookings. Guests are responsible for ensuring their event complies with all applicable local laws, permits, and regulations. Any use of the venue address for public promotion must be approved in advance by Shai City Lofts. All bookings must include time for setup and breakdown. Overtime use will result in additional charges. Guests are responsible for returning the space to its original condition, including proper trash disposal and removal of all personal items and decor. Damages or excessive cleaning may result in additional fees or loss of security deposit. Decorations must not cause damage to walls, floors, or fixtures. No nails, adhesives, permanent alterations, fireworks, sparklers, smoke devices, or pyrotechnics are allowed. Emergency exits and signage must remain clear at all times. Smoking, vaping, illegal substances, and disruptive or unsafe conduct are strictly prohibited. Shai City Lofts is a sober space — alcohol is not permitted on the premises under any circumstances. Guests may be required to provide proof of event liability insurance and a Certificate of Insurance naming Shai City Lofts as Additional Insured. Failure to provide required insurance may result in cancellation. Shai City Lofts is not responsible for lost or stolen items. All guests agree to assume responsibility for their event and attendees. We reserve the right to cancel any event that violates this policy or poses a risk to the venue or its guests.
